All riders confirm they are of adequate ability prior to booking, our team will have a friendly conversation with you and review a few informal videos to determine the best fit for your mount and your position on the hunt field. Those who feel less confident jumping or galloping can join the second field or hilltopper members of the hunt, who take things at a slower, lower pace.

We have a deposit system that means in the event of you having to cancel your trip more than six weeks before it’s start, you will get your money back. However we will always work with you to rebook your trip to a time that works for you, if you have to cancel 6 weeks or less prior to your trip, we will offer you a credit note to be used on one of our future trips.
We do not offer refunds to those who cancel 10 days or less prior to their trip

Of course! We are always happy to advise on the best routes to get to us, we can also offer airport pickup from selected UK airports for a small extra fee of £38 l $50 pp

You will receive detailed advice on this in your informational packet, however most hunts accept a more casual dress from newcomers. In the event you have nothing aligning with the hunt dress code we are happy to help you source something to buy or borrow.

Extreme fitness levels are not required, so long as you feel comfortable in the saddle for a couple of hours at varying paces you will be fine. If you tire through the hunt you can drop back to a slower paced group and still feel immersed in the action!

We can provide airport pickups from selected UK airports, contact your booking agent to arrange this for yourself and your party. Additionally, we may be able to arrange pick up and drop off to other locations, do enquire with your booking agent if this is something that interests you.

Whilst the majority of our itinerary is pre-planned, there will be plenty of free time to explore the local area, our guides are always happy to advise and accommodate where possible.

Absolutely! We understand this is an experience you will likely want to share with you own horse, if you are a UK based equestrian do let our team know you’d like to bring you own horse along and we will work to accommodate, finding a nearby livery and offer you a reduced tour fee, which is included for any guest bringing their own horse.

Yes! We currently offer two discounts. We offer a reduced fee for those bringing their own horse, and we also offer a 10% discount for under 25’s.

No. Since legal change in 2004, British trail hunting follows an artificially lain scent to engage and exercise the hounds, allowing the horses to work with them. The same goes for clean boot and drag hunting, though scents are lain differently. No other animals are included or harmed along the way.

Yes, we welcome non riders at a reduced rate from £1755. Non riders are welcome to join in as a follower on foot during the hunt, and enjoy the rest of the trips heritage aspects alongside riders.
